After obtaining his Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste at the École Normale de Musique in Paris, Florian Bisbrouck continued his studies with Mariam Sarkissian, mentored by José Van Dam, Ludovic Tézier and Florian Sempey.
His many recent performances include Pan Daphnis et Chloé (Offenbach) at the Odéon in Marseille and, in concert, Brahms's Deutsches Requiem on tour in northern France ; as well as Florestan Richard Cœur de Lion (Grétry) at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie à Liège et Dragon for the world premier of Jean-Marie Machado's La Falaise des Lendemains, at the Opéra de Rennes, the Opéra de Nantes and the Opéra d'Angers. Future plans include Sciarrone Tosca at the Opéra de Saint-Étienne.
He had previously sung Escamillo Carmen for Musica Nigella, Lescaut and Des Grieux in Massenet’s Manon with the Compagnie Op’la at the Opéras de Massy, Limoges, Vichy and Saint-Étienne, Enrico in Haydn’s L’isola disabitata at the Opéra de Clermont Ferrand. Norbert Pitoul in Tous en Scène, an original show by Pierre Thirion-Vallet also at the Opéra Clermont Ferrand, and Guglielmo Così fan tutte at the Estivales de Brou. In concert, has also sung Mascagni Messa di Gloria for Angers-Nantes Opéra.
Florian’s many other roles include Procolo Viva la Mamma, Ramiro L'Heure Espagnole, Papageno Die Zauberflöte, Guglielmo Cosi fan tutte, Ben in Menotti's The Telephone, as well as Count Schopp Le Roi Carotte at the Opéra de Lille (directed by Laurent Pelly), Haly L'italiana in Algeri, in a co-production between Clermont Auvergne Opéra and Opéra Nomade, and Dulcamara L'elisir d'amore. He made his debut as Figaro Le nozze di Figaro at the Opéra de Clermont-Ferrand in 2022, as well as on tour in France in a co-production Clermont Auvergne Opéra and Opéra Nomade and in a reprise at the Estivales de Brou. He also sang Calchas La Belle Hélène with the Orchestre Maurice Ravel, and took part as Nicolas in the first recording of Fourdrain's La Griffe.
In competition, he is a previous 1st prize winner at the Concours de Mélodie Française in Coulaines, and won 2nd prize at the Béziers Competition in 2017.
